Each year, the international airport and airline community meets to participate in Routes The World Route Development Forum. Routes reflects the growing importance of commercial relations between airlines and airports.
Recently
This year, the forum took place in Cancun, Mexico. The inaugural Routes Regional Americas event was declared a resounding success by delegates meeting in Cancun, Mexico. 300 air service development professionals gathered to discuss new route opportunities in the first event to link North, South and Central America
ASUR will also host the second Routes' Regional America event in Cancun to be held 15-17 February 2009.
Due to the international importance of this event, it is held in a different location each year. Some recent host cities are: Athens 2002, Edinburgh 2003, Madrid 2004, Copenhagen 2005, Dubai 2006, Stockholm 2007 and Kuala Lumpur 2008
