Tapachula airport is positioned as the “Southern Frontier” providing access to Central and South America
Tapachula is the second biggest city in Southern Mexico and is the closest to Puerto Chiapas cruise ship port. It is one of the most important centres of commerce and industry in Chiapas state specialising in agricultural produce and commerce. Like other airports in the ASUR group, Tapachula has the potential to develop as a staging point for adventure tourism in the south.
